ZiroSpot
privacy policy · v0.17.2Privacy policy
ZiroSpot is a service that plays internet radio and automatically weaves in a venue's own ad spots (shops, restaurants). This document describes what data we process while providing the service and why.
What data we process
- Account: name, e-mail address, and password (the password is stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form).
- Venue: the name and identifier of the venue you create in the service and its broadcast settings (stations, interval, schedule).
- Uploaded audio (spots): audio files you upload, record with the microphone, or generate with an AI voice. You are responsible for their content.
- Playback records: when and which spot played (the foundation of future reporting for your venue).
- Feedback: if you send us a bug report or idea, we store the message text, the page it was sent from, and your e-mail if you voluntarily provide it.
- Technical logs: ordinary hosting server logs (IP address, request time) for securing and debugging the service.
What we do not collect
- No marketing or analytics cookies and trackers.
- The service's only cookies are the login cookie and the language preference (technically necessary for operation).
- We do not sell data or share it for advertising purposes.
Processors and third parties
- Vercel (application hosting and audio file storage) and Neon (database) — the infrastructure the service runs on.
- Microsoft Edge TTS— when generating a spot with an AI voice, the entered text is sent to Microsoft's voice service, which turns it into audio. Do not put personal data into spot text.
- Radio Browser (an open radio catalog) — when searching for a station, only the search term is sent to the catalog.
- Radio stream operators — radio playback itself is your device connecting directly to the chosen stream.
Demo
The public demo at /demo is a shared playground without login: anything you upload or configure there can be seen and deleted by other visitors. Do not upload anything personal or confidential.
Retention
We keep account and venue data for as long as the account exists. After the account is cancelled we delete the account, the venue, uploaded spots, and playback records. Hosting server logs are deleted automatically according to the infrastructure provider's rules.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object. Just write to us via the in-app feedback (the "?" button) or the contact below. If you believe we process data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
